We were out in Manhattan—Margaret, Aunt Devon, M We were out in Manhattan—Margaret, Aunt Devon, Mary (a dear family friend), and I. Eric joined us after his Pecking House pop-up service in Park Slope. It was a big night: we were checking him out—Margaret’s special guy!!! We decided to karaoke. I have one huge memory seared on my heart—Eric sang “Your Song” to Margaret. In my family, a love of music is everything. I knew—as he was singing so beautifully to her—that he was the one. The look between them! The way he held her hand!!! It was soooo romantic that I took off my shoes and threw them at him. We all did. We simply didn’t know what else to do in the presence of such deep passion and love. And they are still that way…such a joy to be around, these two. What a perfect moment in time their wedding was!!! We love you, Margaret and Eric!!! “How wonderful life is while you’re in the world.” 🥰🥰🥰
